Introduction

RoseDRCluster is a remote disaster recovery production based on local shared storage/data mirroring high availability cluster. As the supplement and extension for local cluster solution, it has a higher disaster recovery level and can kill the single point of failure and site failure. It can monitor the running status of HW/SW resources in real time, and realize the local and remote overall disaster recovery of business system.

Local high availability and remote disaster recovery

User business system will not only receive high availability protection from local cluster, but also can be extended to receive remote disaster recovery protection.

All-around monitoring and failover

It will monitor the running status of application services in real time. If any application service fails, it will be auto failed over to the standby server. If the local standby server is also unavailable at this time, it will be failed over to remote disaster recovery node. Depending on the in-depth monitoring on the usage of CPU/memory resource, it supports intelligent alarm and policy switch.  

Data disaster backup and recovery

The production data will be transmitted to remote disaster recovery center in real time to realize the remote disaster recovery. Besides, user can recover the disaster recovery data to production center too.

It provides logic-level data protection for key business data. The all-round protection for data integrity &consistency can be realized by kernel data snapshot and snapshot recovery functions.   

Simplified operation and maintenance

Local high available and remote disaster recovery solution will be managed in a centralized way by GUI (graphic user interface), which will show the running status of system in real time; It supports diverse event alert modes, such as online log, SMS, Email and etc. This facilitates the routine management and simplifies operation & maintenance.
